Tiger Woods 11 to use Playstation Move controller…

April 22, 2010

Apparently there’s a mini-game that uses the Move to simulate Tiger’s wood…

Recommended game: Demon’s Souls (and why Yahtzee is no longer relevant to gaming)

January 26, 2010

It’s rare that a game comes along and is so frustrating, yet so fun at the same time. Meet Demon’s Souls, the hack’n’slash, action RPG for the Playstation 3.

The story is pretty straight-forward, an evil fog sets on the world and with it, brings a horde of demons. Your job is to take them down and restore peace. Progressing through the game however, is not so straight-forward. (Yet not as difficult and frustrating as the pussy, Yahtzee would tell you…)

Top 5 PS3 games of 2009

December 20, 2009

2009 has been one of the better years to be a gamer. Never have we felt so out of pocket with such a wide variety of great games to choose from. Me, being spoilt like I am, pretty much bought all of the games I wanted and will probably get to them by the time I retire but there were definitely a few standouts as far as my Playstation 3 collection goes.

“Play, Create, Share.” – ModNation Racers impressions

How to: Replace a PS3 hard drive

June 16, 2009

One of my favourite features of the Playstation 3, being able to easily replace and upgrade the hdd! Not only does it not void your warranty, but Sony themselves advertise this fact. With our game collections always growing and more and more download content appearing, it’s likely that most people will be starting to run out of hdd space soon. Here’s a quick and easy guide that will give you a huge upgrade on hard drive size for a very cheap price!

Recommended game: Hakuna Matata/Afrika

June 5, 2009

The PS3 game that brings an African Safari to your living room!

One of the most unique ‘games’ currently available on the Playstation 3, Hakuna Matata puts you in the shoes of a photojournalist in Africa. Replacing the guns of typical games, with a variety of cameras, you are sent on missions to photograph different animals and their behaviours, earning money for the quality of your work. Not a fast action game by any means, Hakuna Matata is a relaxing, yet interesting and often exciting experience. Read the rest of this entry »
